As we receive more and more questions on the termination of production of the M6 TTL, we are sending you below the answer, which can be individually adapted to your customers questions:

Why did Leica stop the production of the M6 TTL?
Will there be a new mechanical M camera?

We are very pleased about the market success of the Leica M7. In order to best fulfil the needs of our customers, we decided to concentrate our production capacity on the production of the M7. We have therefore stopped producing the M6 product range.
We know that a number of photographers would like to have a mechanical M camera and we are currently investigating the possibility to find a solution for these customers.
We would like to thank you for your commitment to high-class photography and hope that you will be satisfied with Leica products in the future.
