그 인터뷰의 자세한 내용은 그 잡지를 사서 봐야 알 것 같은데요....

말씀 나온 김에 최근 내용을 검색해 봤습니다.

아래글은 그 잡지에 있는 글은 아니었지만 아마도 비슷한 내용일 듯 싶습니다.

왜냐하면 그 기사에서 인터뷰를 한 사람(Stefan Daniel)이 미국 LHSA meeting에서도 digital M에 대해 설명한 적이 있답니다. 그 내용을 모임에 있었던 어떤 사람이 정리(10월 30일자)한 것입니다.

이글에 의하면 출시를 2006년 포토키나 에 맞추고 있다는 군요..
가격은 미화 5,000불 정도로...

A few interesting statements about the Digital M
surfaced at the LHSA meeting, in response to
questions from the floor addressed to Stefan Daniel
of Leica Camera AG. In no particular order, my best
recollection is as follows:

- Digital M will preserve continuity of look
and form factor with existing M cameras

- optical rangefinder

- modified R9 type shutter (auf Wiedersehen to
horizontal travel cloth shutter)

- 1.33 crop factor, not full frame (do the math
to calculate effective focal lengths for 35mm
lenses)

- 10.5 megapixel sensor

- 2.5" playback only screen

- 1/8000 top shutter speed

- lithium ion battery

- SD memory card

- self-timer

- auto-shutter cocking

- USB 2.0 connector, no video out

- supports RAW

- black and white mode in JPEG

- 5 or 6 sets of framelines (TBA)

- VF magnification TBA

- shutter lag goal under 20 milliseconds

- upgradable digital componentry under consideration
but not promised

- digital sensor partner is German (not Imacon)

- camera to be made in Germany

- price goal under US$5K

- targeted to ship at Photokina 2006

- expect compatibility with 95-97% of existing
Leica lenses

- expect new Leica M lenses in the ultra-wide
range, which are also to be compatible with
existing M cameras (philosophy is against
digital-only lenses)

- compatibility with wide-angle M lenses to be
achieved as follows: incorporate new micro-lens
offset technology in front of sensor; micro-lens
design to be ultra-flat; replacement of pre-sensor
anti-aliasing filter with software solution;
infra-red cut-off filter to be incorporated into
sensor cover glass, to be made of scratch-
resistant material; separate cover glass thus
eliminated

Can't guarantee the total accuracy of the above,
but it's to the best of my understanding of what
was said.

2006년에는 full frame이 대세가 되어 있을텐데 1.33 crop은 상당히 아쉽군요

좀 많이 늦었군요.. RF로서 인기를 끌 수 있을지.. 가격도 만만치 않고. R-D1보다 더 비쌀텐데...

M 이 아닌 mini-R 처럼 보이는 건 저뿐인가요?
그리고
스냅 등을 주력으로 하는 rf에서 풀프레임이 지원이 되지않으니 참 아쉽네요.

흠...1:1이길 기원했는데...아쉽네요...기술이 부족한건 아닐텐데...상술인가?
광각을 출시한다는걸로봐서는...상술인것 같기도 하네요...

아무래도 가격때문이겠죠,,
1.33 크롭인 바디가 5000달라인데,, 1:1 인 바디가 나오면,, 만불대로 훌쩍~
