i'm david. i'm 36 years old. single. australian.

i'm a teacher, traveler and photographer.

i've been photographing for 20 years. my first camera was a pentax K1000 when i was 15. my dad gave it to me. i learned developing and printing in high school. i was chief photographer on my university newspaper.

i used to own a canon, but when i started traveling i switched to digital and now own a nikon D200.

however, my passion is film and i own a nice little leica R5 and summicron 50mm f2. later i will buy an M7 rangefinder (when i have more money).

i've visited 11 countries so far and next year (2009) i will travel around the world.

i am very, very happy to have found your leica club. i love my leica and it's fun for me to share my photos with you.

please don't worry about english skills. i don't care about good english or bad english. i only care about photography. i don't speak much korean, so we should let our photographs be our universal language!

so please leave a message or say "HI!" and i'll be really happy.

I believe that you will have a good time with us and study about photo and life.
I give one Tip to you.
If you visit Amigos which is located in Choong Moo Ro near by Bando Camera every saterday afternoon, you will be able to meet about 30 club members.

anyaway I hope to see your photos in our Gallery soon.

Uploading your photos is a best way to communicate each other by universal language as you said..^^

It's nice to meet you in our club.
I've never been to Australia, but hope to visit soon.
It's really amazing that "Leica" gives us the opportunity to communicate with foreigners.
And due to foreigners we'll have to leave the messages in english as well.
I hope we'll meet in Korea soon.

Я пока еще не был в Австралии, но обязательно хотелось бы однажды посетить ее.
Очень приятно, что благодаря "Лейка" в нашем клубе можно встретить представителей из других стран.
Возможно, в скором будущем нам придется помимо корейского языка писать и на английском.
Я надеюсь, что однажды мы встретимся в Корее.
Желаю Вам получать удовольствие от использования "Лейки".

Thank you for using easy english and saying banga banga.
The entire site is operated in korean so it may be hard to communicate with us, but in Leica Club,
I hope it would be an opportunity to meet good friends.
The M7 you are hoping for is an amazing camera.
I wish that you would find a perfect M7 for yourself and take great pictures.

We welcome you from United States too.
In fact, Leica Club covers the whole world.
You can meet our members where ever you go on your "round the world" trip.
In the mean time, please try to get close to our site and show us your

I am happy for you to be a member of this club.
Never have I been to Australia but it is one of the places I want to visit.
I hope you'll get the cameras you want, sooner or later.
And I hope to see your photos, too....(not knowing that you already posted).
There a member of this club, who lives in your country.
Working on this site, you will know who he is.
I want you to get used to this site and have good friends to talk to.
